On this day the 9th May in the year of our lord 1538, James V, King of Scots married Marie De Guise by proxy at Château de Châteaudun, which was attended by many nobles.

The wedding in person is to take place at St Andrews Cathedral on the 18th day of June in the year of our lord 1538.
