Meeting someone new

Grace de Velville was sent by her uncle the king of England. She arrived in a carriage with some ladies in waiting plus a few guards. The Tudor flag waves as she arrives. She looks out wondering what the place will be like.

I was at the estate when I am informed that a carriage had arrived. I stepped outside to see that the Tudor flag was flying so I could see that King Henry had sent someone to see me.

I was curious to see who this person was and also to find out what King Henry had planned for them here. I approach the carriage with a few guards by my side and wait for the door to open so I could see who it was.

A guard opens the door and a female hand comes out and the Tudor guard bow to the hand.

I had travelled with my niece to Bavaria as I had arranged for her to meet with Duke Philip and as our carriage stopped she opens the door and holds out her hand.
"Grace my dear niece it is okay I know you must be feeling nervous as this is a place you have never been here before but I am here to support you too. Now let us meet this Philip.

“Yes uncle.”She said taking her uncle hand. Remember her cousin Mary talking about a Philip of Bavaria. She looks up after she curtsy to her uncle.

I look her in her eyes as she looks up.

"Is everything okay Grace you seem a little worried about something?

"I am fine uncle."She said to her uncle. She looked around the area then saw some men walking up to them as she got out of the carriage.

"Grace let's go together and meet this Phillip for I need to make sure he is right for you. I say as I help her out of the carriage.

She nodded and got out of the carriage and looked around before following her uncle to meet Philip of Bavaria.

She looks at her uncle.

She curtsy low to him.

"Yes uncle."
